Expeditions

A Day Where Anything Can Happen

Exposure to the natural world, changing weather, and time to pause stimulate curiosity, foster wonder, and cultivate respect for life. As an innovative educational program, we challenge our students with new settings and experiences in Forest School. Thursdays are a day when the two branches of Airie come together in a harmonious balance of shared learning.

Airie Outdoor Academy students enjoy weekly field trips to local parks, woods, creeks, caves, zoos, and farms, offering opportunities for children to fully immerse themselves in nature. Our students learn the patience of observation and the responsibility of interacting with various plants, animals, and ecosystems, thereby promoting a deeper understanding of the environment.

Expedition Club members are homeschooled children who yearn for adventure in the great outdoors. Families who homeschool choose to join our club as an enrichment anchor to their weekly rhythm.
